I’ll be traveling from Seattle to Philly, and cities in between, over the next six weeks, shooting 22 Major League players!
Shooting with my new Leica S2.
HELPING HAITI: Mick Jagger, L’Wren Scott, Rachel Weisz, Catherine Zeta-Jones and a bevy of other notables will host next month’s Rx Haiti benefit and auction to help provide prosthetics for earthquake victims. Michelle Williams, Sienna Miller, Jude Law, Helmut Lang, Zac Posen and Edie Falco are some of the others rounding up friends for the May 6 event at The Greenhouse, the rooftop garden at Scholastic’s SoHo offices. After seeing firsthand the lack of adequate medical care while pitching in with the relief effort earlier this year, David Colbert, a Manhattan-based internist and dermatologist, decided to try to do something about it. Items up for bid will include pieces from Thakoon, Narciso Rodriguez, Calvin Klein, Fred Leighton and Diana Broussard; photography from Annie Leibovitz, EJ Camp, Sante D’Orazio and Jim Marshall, and art from Elizabeth Peyton, Shawn Dulaney, Rachel Harrison and Chris Martin, among others.
I am currently on board of a foundation to provide prosthetics to amputee victims of the earthquake in Haiti. I just returned from a trip to Haiti last week to take pictures for our benefit on May 6 and to visit the clinic where we are making artificial limbs and treating treating amputees.
The situation there is urgent. Any donations go a long way to getting Haitians onto their feet and involved in rebuilding there country.

At my Portrait Lighting Workshop at International Center of Photography, in New York City this past January, students were from literally all over the world! They were all immensely talented and dedicated. It appears that there is a lot of exceptionally talented photographers out there about to splash into the world market.
On Set
This past weekend I did a photo shoot with my friend Grahame Fowler and his clothing designs.
As well as shooting Grahame Fowler, I gathered other friends for the shoot: Liz Welch, the co-author of “The Kids Are Alright”; Chris Wedge, director of “Ice Age”; Edowa Shimizu, an architect with Gluckman Mayner and Linda Fargo, Fashion director of Bergdorf Goodman.
Since last year, EJ Camp is been participating as a teacher on several lighting workshops for the International School of Photography in NYC.
Check out the new workshops for this winter. More to come in the summer!
EJ Camp has been chosen to shoot the Art Director’s Awards for this year 2010
